This 8-week course follows on from the TWI Level 1 course and is a more advanced course for those who want to work on individual projects with instruction and guidance. This course covers more advanced techniques such as lidded vessels, shaping vases and jugs, throwing taller and larger, and other personal projects. This course is designed around the learners and their individual goals, but we work as a group on certain forms. There will also be plenty of time for you to explore new forms and techniques.
To benefit from this class, you need to be a confident thrower and be able to do the following without instruction:
Center your clay
Throw a set of matching cylinders
Throw a bowl
Make and attach handles
